How I Work
I support psychologists and psychiatrists with the day-to-day running of their practice, whether that is one specific area or broader support across the week.
More than completing tasks
The practical tasks matter. But over time, effective support becomes about much more than completing a to-do list.
It means becoming familiar with how your practice works: how you prefer enquiries to be handled, the way you like reports formatted, the processes you follow, and your important professional relationships. It means understanding the details that are second nature to you but take time for someone else to learn.
As that familiarity develops, you spend less time explaining, checking, and following up. Support becomes quicker, smoother, and more effective because it is built on continuity, trust, and an understanding of how you work.
How I integrate
I adapt to existing ways of working and have experience with a wide range of systems used across private practice settings and can recommend improvements where appropriate.
I keep track of what needs doing and follow things through. Clients tend to describe me as a safe and reliable pair of hands.
Tailored to your practice
Every practice is different. Some clinicians need help with one specific area — weekly invoicing, or formatting reports. Others need steady, reliable cover across the week. I work to whatever level of involvement suits you, and this can change over time if required.
Background and experience
I have worked in private practice settings since 2017, with particular experience supporting clinicians in ADHD and autism, as well as those providing therapy and assessments across a range of disciplines. Before that, I spent over 20 years in corporate and small business environments, supporting senior professionals in high-pressure roles where accuracy, discretion, and managing competing demands were essential.
I also hold a BSc in Psychology (2:1), which gives me a practical understanding of the clinical environments I work in.
